Dark and funny

Although some questions about the main character were never answered, I now realize that's because the author wants the reader to be intrigued, but at the same time, drawn to the character. Who is this guy? I need to know more. The main female characters were well written, likable, and I was rooting for the success of a certain girl- which I shall not provide any spoilers. Overall, I wouldn't suggest this to my mother, but if you like darker stories and enjoy understanding why people do bad things, I'd recommend this book. It's kind of like Dexter meets Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter.

An unusual novel, written in the first person through 'the eyes of a repeat murderer". It is certainly an interesting psychological study, which is far from predictable, and somehow gets one identifying with some most objectionable characters. A good read, despite the unsavoury theme.
