I love all Stephanie Laurens books! This book didn't disappoint, I love the continuing plot and can't wait for the third book to release. Mrs. Laurens later books have less romance and more mystery but everything flows Very well. So few authors write without grammatical errors and to have one who always cover all the bases with time, dates, and spelling is wonderful. You wouldn't think proofreading should be a clincher but for me, it definitely is. I would recommend narration for the Buccaneer Series, Steve West is great. If you read the Bride Series, this has the same concept but still totally wonderful to read. A loyal fan who has read 52 and counting books of this author. A must purchase, you want be disappointed.

Best of the series so far!

This installment of The Adventurer's Quartet is a bit better than the first installment and the just released 3rd installment. I have been a big fan of this author for years and I like that this series ties to the Bastion Club series though Royce/Dalziel, Duke of Wolverstone, who is in charge of the investigation into the enslavement of British citizens in Africa...a very different setting for romance novels but Laurens makes it work. Even though I wasn't as taken with the 3rd novel in the series, everything is setting up for a really good fourth and final installment in the series.

Absolutely love Stephanie Laurens romantic adventure series

I love this new series. Robert and Aileen are so much alike. It's funny seeing them buck heads and fall in love while racing for their lives.
I love how Stephanie brings back some of characters from other books to help bring down the villain. It tangles with the last adventure series of Black Cobra and teaching everyone involved what not to do. With all the twists and turns of this adventure.
I can't wait to read Caleb and Royd adventures.
Thanks Stephanie for giving another amazing adventure to live in.
