Kate Logan had always planned to marry her lifelong best friend, Clay Franklin. But when he falls in love with someone else, she graciously lets him break their engagement and even attends his wedding. On top of that, her widowed father is dating seriously, and the family ranch is facing major changes. After too much champagne at Clay’s wedding reception, Kate proposes to Luke Rivers, the ranch foreman, and he accepts. Luke has no intention of letting Kate slip away from him because, even though she is unaware of this fact, he knows he is the only man for her. This hardcover edition of an early work originally published in 1990 as a paperback original by prolific and best-selling Macomber, who is currently delighting readers with her sustained Rose Harbor and Blossom Street series, features the simplicity and wholesomeness for which she has become known. Her many fans will welcome this stand-alone vintage title, a novel many will not have read before. --Diana Tixier Herald

Worst book I've ever read! I finished it, not sure how I did it! It's never taken me so long to read a book! Nothing to keep you interested! I'm not sure of the time it was written in but seemed like there was no technology we have now! I wouldn't give it a star!

Country Bride by Debbie Macomber (Large Print Hardcover)
By Ketzel
This book is the sequel to "A Little Bit Country" but can be enjoyed on its own ... but I would highly recommend you read them both, preferably back-to-back! These stories are the type that warm your heart without the kind of sex scenes that scorch your fingers ... save space on your keeper shelf for this duo!
