Whiskey Creek is that you?

I love the Whiskey Creek series, however I almost forgot that this book was set there while reading it. I had forgotten about Rod and the other two brothers, not that they existed just their names and story lines because it had been so long since the appeared in a book. So when Mack and Natasha enter with their secondary storyline I had to go back to Dylan's book to figure out who was who. Even though this book is set in Whiskey Creek there's hardly any mention of the characters we've all grown to know and love. Granted they don't run in the same crowds but even Dylan and Cheyanne only make a brief appearance in it.
I enjoyed India and Rod storyline, but it almost was too much going on at once between Rods fight, her past and her fight with her in laws. Just a little hard to get into them with all that going on.
I am hoping Mack and Nastasha get a story later on after she's finished college and their parents split.

DON'T MISS THIS ONE! I LOVED this book!

LOVED this book! This is a story of second chances and unfailing love. India has lost everything except her little girl, and that little girl means the world to her. She will do anything she can to protect her daughter, and keep her safe at her side. Rod has a bad boy persona that will not let anyone see the good guy beneath. He has had a hard life, but he has a loving and devoted family he would do anything for. He has never been in this place before, with a woman who can change his life. India doesn't want to want him, but she cant help herself. Rod is not looking for forever, but he cant help himself. They both need a new start, and they find it in each other. This book was a great addition to the Whiskey Creek series, and although it stands on its own, it was nice to run into old friends from the town. This is a must read, and one of Brenda's best books to date. DON'T MISS THIS ONE!

Interesting

I have read the entire Whiskey Creek series. Some stories are better than others. This one is interesting because it's about a minor player from a family in town that is peripherally connected to the main characters from previous stories. I liked Rod quite a bit. He reminded me of Dylan who's my favorite character. He's Dylan's brother and is a good guy. He falls for his neighbor, India who is running from her past. The story has some interesting twists to it. I like the way the author didn't drag every previous character from previous stories into this one. There's an interesting side story about Mack, another Amos brother. The story is fast moving and plausible. The connection between the characters is good. I recommend this to anyone looking for a good love story about interesting people in an interesting town.
